Here's a quick video review of one important concept from the Workshop last Saturday:
Do the muted strum along with me and repeat the sung rhythm patterns. When you get comfortable with that try letting the right hand express the rhythm in some way, either by stressing the rhythm or missing the strings when you don't want a sound.
